Take a trip way down to the Lousiana Bayou and meet the "Taylors" a troublesome but well off African American Family. Why are they troubled? Well the father "Pastor George Taylor" spent many years in prison after being falesly accused of the rape of his white neighbor. During this time his wife June become very bitter and ill because she felt as if God had abandoned her, so now she consults a local Jamaican fortuneteller instead of God and is confined to a wheel chair. The Taylors have two grown children, the off the wall local musician "George Jr" and all around good girl and law school student "Peaches".

The story begins when Peaches brings home for summer break her very attractive caucasian college roommate "Tanya", and this is where the trouble begins! Tanya instantly gains the affection of not only George Sr but George Jr, and after one very mysterious night of lies, events and contradictions, someone is murdered!

Now it is up to stock boy/church deacon and head detective Ronnie Woods to collect the clues and close in on a suspect the problem is everyone seemingly has motive and opportunity!
