Come over to "First Church" and meet the beautiful star soloist "Trina Mills"
and her supposed soul mate "Tony Jones" the church organist. These two seemlike a match made in heaven, growing
up in school together and now attending the same church their attraction was obvious to everyone. That is except the relationship
has never gone past the friendship level despite the many suggestions or innuendos that Tony gives. This frustrates Trina to no end because
she feels her biological clock is ticking and it seems as though Tony has not made up his mind. On the other hand according
to Tony everything is going as planned he is just waiting until the right time, he has no worries though because he knows
that Trina will one day be "Mrs. Tony Jones" until then they will be "just friends".
Everything abruptly
comes to a screeching halt when the church gets an unexpected visit from "Melvin Laster" grandson of a faithful
member. Melvin owns a string of night clubs in the area called "Lasters Place" he is the self proclaimed "P.
Diddy" of the night club industry and is as different from Tony as night and day.
Melvin takes one look at Trina and decides
that she had to be his new #1 at any cost. Knowing their obvious difference in lifestyle but captivated by his charm
Trina is confronted with choosing to wait on Tony to pursue a romantic relationship or take a chance on someone who may
not share her beliefs; so what's a girl to do?

"I am a person if I sit longer than 40 minutes without
any interaction with another person or my hands in a hobby I get bored and sleepy. Not on Saturday at the play, "Unequally
Yoked". I hung on every word, my attention never waivered, it is a play that the person sitting next to you could come
away with a different twist, as I was leaving I met a woman who also attended the play, she and I stood and discussed "Unequally
Yoked" for about 15 minutes, we discussed each others views and opinions, it was enlightening to hear her observation.
One evening and I am committed to being a fan for life! -Karen Redman, Detroit
